Overview
Siemens is working in the field of digitalisation and sees deep process knowledge in the form of predictive models, that are closely integrated within the automation system, as key to the next wave of digitalisation of operations in the process industries.
The economics of such digital twin applications benefit significantly from re-using models that evolve over the asset lifecycle, incorporating knowledge and delivering value at every stage.
Siemens and PSE are working together to integrate the companies’ toolsets – from CFD, integrated engineering and online automation – to create digital twins for applications from R&D to intelligent digital operations.
