Webinar: How to Create Effective Level 1 Displays for Enhanced Situation Awareness

The display standard of many companies specifies creation of a Level 1 display as the top of a display hierarchy. Research by the Center for Operator performance revealed that most of these displays fall short of what is needed to maintain situation awareness. Further investigation resulted in development of criteria and process for creating effective Level 1 graphics, which will be detailed in this webinar.

Our three presenters have over 75 years combined experience in process industries. Ike Brackin is a former operator and control system engineer at Flint Hills Resources Corpuse Christi Refinery. Cindy Scott is product manager for Emerson's DeltaV distrributed control system. David Strobhar is author of Human Factors in Process Plant Operations.
