Fiona Macleod
Chair
Fiona is Professor of Process Safety at the Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering, University of Sheffield. She previously worked in the international chemical and power industries with over 40 years experience in design and construction, engineering and maintenance, commissioning and operations, demolition and land remediation, technology transfer and sales. After completing a degree and Masters in Chemical Engineering at Cambridge University, her experience with process safety was gained at the sharp end with practical experience of managing high hazard manufacturing sites.

Ramin Abhari
Ramin is a principal process engineer with Renewable Energy Group. He has over 28 years of experience in the chemical process industry, with expertise in hydrogenation and polymerization technologies.

Andy Brazier
Andy has worked as a process safety risk consultant specialising in human factors for over 20 years. With experience of working in oil, gas, chemical and power companies, he has a solid understanding of the risks that impact on businesses across the major hazard sectors.

Roger Casey
Roger is an independent consultant specialising in process safety/major hazards. He has 36 years’ experience, with 32 years in the process safety field. A chartered chemical engineer, FIChemE and a registered Professional Process Safety Engineer, Roger has chaired over 2,000 HAZOP meetings and presented over 130 training courses on the subject.

Bruno Fabiano
Bruno is Full Professor in Chemical Plants at the University of Genoa (Italy), holding courses in reliability, safety and risk management.

Geoff Gill
Geoff has extensive experience of the nuclear industry and has spent much of his career leading a team of safety assessors, who prepared safety cases for the Springfields plants.

Hayley Little
Hayley has 5 years’ experience working in the petrochemicals industry at a top tier COMAH site and has experience in mineral processing, and energy & utilities. Her experience is mostly in projects, R&D and decommissioning. She is passionate about Process Safety, particularly in sharing lessons learned.

Andrea Longley
Andrea works at the Chemical Industries Association as a Responsible Care Executive, having previously worked for 19 years at Dow Corning, initially in commissioning and manufacturing and later in the EHS Department.

Robert Magraw
Robert Magraw is the Operations Manager of BakerRisk Europe Ltd with an extensive career in safety and risk management in the O&G, Petrochemical and Nuclear sectors.

Ken Patterson
Ken has over 20 year's senior HSE management roles in the chemical industry and prior to that was a Specialist Inspector with the UK Health & Safety Executive.

Christina Phang
Christina Phang is a Chartered Chemical Engineer and a Fellow of the IChemE UK. She is also a qualified Professional Process Safety Engineer and is also registered with the Board of Engineers (BEM) in Malaysia and Professional Engineers Board (PEB) in Singapore and has over 30 years’ experience in safety and risk management providing advice relating to safety engineering during project development, commissioning and construction through to operational and decommissioning phases.

John Riddick
John is the Director of Caldbeck Process Safety Inc., a consultancy based out of Calgary, and prior to that held over 30 years experience in strategic and operational HSE management.

Doug Scott
Doug has over 30 years in the insurance industry involved in risk assessments and claims investigations for the offshore and onshore oil upstream oil industry.

Zoha Tariq
Zoha is a chemical engineer with experience across process safety, sustainability, and risk management, with a strong focus on integrating safety principles into engineering practice.

Ivan Vince
Over the last 30 years, Ivan has focused his consultancy, teaching and research on process safety and related matters, including major accidents to the environment. He is a specialist on combustion generated pollution and flammability limits.
