Jeffrey obtained his BEng (1985) and PhD (1992) in Chemical Engineering. In 1995, Jeffrey relocated to Sydney Australia and begun working for the University shortly after.

Jeffrey now works as the Technical Manager responsible for the School of Chemical Engineering's safety, laboratories operation, buildings service and maintenance.  

Jeffrey has been involved in Standards Australia’s Safety in Laboratories technical committee (CH-026 committee) and is a member and Chartered Chemical Engineer of IChemE, and Fellow and Chartered Chemist of RACI.
