Canute Hudson has a BSc. degree in Chemical and Process Engineering, MBA in Oil and Gas Management, Project Management Professional qualifications and a Diploma in Financial Management. Canute is a Registered Engineer with the Board of Engineering in Trinidad and Tobago, and has been a member of the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) for over ten years, where he has progressed from the level of Associate Member, to Chartered Member, and is currently an IChemE Fellow.

Judith Armorer graduated from the University of the West Indies (UWI) in 2012 with a BSc. Chemical and Process Engineering, and also holds an MSc in Petroleum Engineering and Management from the UWI. Judith has acquired over ten years of experience in upstream oil assets, upstream gas assets and EPC support. She began her career as a Process Engineering Graduate at Massy Wood, providing EPC support to Upstream Oil and Gas Operators. She then completed the Repsol Upstream Exploration and Production Program in Spain, after which she returned to Trinidad to support the oil production assets as a Process Engineer under Repsol and later under Perenco.

Volton Edwards holds a BSc degree in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of the West Indies and an MBA from the University of Reading. He has over 25 years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry, working in Refining, Midstream and Upstream, and as a consultant in a wide range of activities including Process Operations, Engineering Design, Assurance, Process Safety and Risk Management.

Ian Fraser, CEng MIChemE has a BSc. in Chemical and Process Engineering and an MPhil degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of the West Indies. He has thirty-two (32) years of Process Engineering experience within Upstream, Refinery and Ammonia Manufacturing Industries. At the time of retirement from Shell Trinidad and Tobago Limited in July 2021, Ian was the Process Engineering Technical Authority for both Operations/Brownfield Projects and Greenfield Projects.

Committed to building the Chemical Engineering profession, Dr. Watson serves on the Steering Committee for the Institution of Chemical Engineers Trinidad and Tobago Members Group and strives for effective Chemical Engineering education.

Renisha Hercules obtained her BSc. Chemical and Process Engineering degree from the University of the West Indies (UWI), St. Augustine Campus in 2020, where she graduated at the top of her class. Renisha first became involved with IChemE as the Department Representative for the Chemical Engineering department at UWI and later transitioned into the role of Networking, Fundraising, Social and Recognition (NFSR) Committee Lead, where, with the help of her committee, she creates social media content, disseminates information to the Members Group and promotes membership growth; she is also the editor of the IChemE TTMG newsletter, The Vessel, which showcases technical and non-technical articles authored by local talent.

Brian Geoffroy has over seven years of experience in the Chlor-Alkali industry, after having graduated with a BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of the West Indies in 2015. He is a Process Engineer at ANSA McAL Chemicals Limited, supporting operations in Trinidad and Jamaica. He is primarily responsible for process monitoring, process improvement, and technical procurement, and is a member of the Incident Control Group. Brian also has experience in capital projects, most notably in the design and commissioning of a greenfield Chlorine Transfilling Plant, and plant expansion and plant automation projects which are presently in execution.

Chaika Matthew graduated from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine (UWI) in 2012 with a BSc. in Chemical and Process Engineering. She completed Trainee Programmes in the fields of agriculture in the public sector, then in Reliability Engineering at a major LNG producing company in Trinidad and Tobago. The latter experience piqued her interest in asset management, and Chaika subsequently worked in the field of Facilities Management and obtained her MSc. in Engineering Asset Management from the UWI in 2022.

Abigail Clarke obtained her BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering in 2020 from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, where she received a final year project award for the Best Energy Industry Related Project. She has written an article entitled, “Food Waste – The GHG Blind Spot”, for the IChemE TTMG newsletter and recently completed a fellowship with Student Energy, a Canadian NGO, which was aimed at creating an energy literacy program for the younger generation in the region.

Dr. Chantal Mohammed holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering with High Commendation and a BSc. in Chemical and Process Engineering with First Class Honours from the University of the West Indies (UWI). She has 7 years of experience in industry and Research & Development (R&D), with an emphasis placed on Sustainability, and is currently employed at the Ansa McAL Group. Dr. Mohammed hopes to utilize her role in IChemE to bridge the gap between R&D and industry by introducing research and innovation as a tool for continuous improvement.
