Abigail Clarke obtained her BSc in Chemical and Process Engineering in 2020 from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine Campus, where she received a final year project award for the Best Energy Industry Related Project. She has written an article entitled, “Food Waste – The GHG Blind Spot”, for the IChemE TTMG newsletter and recently completed a fellowship with Student Energy, a Canadian NGO, which was aimed at creating an energy literacy program for the younger generation in the region.

Abigail started her career as a Process Engineering Intern at Heritage Petroleum Company Limited, then went into her final year of studies. Upon completion of her degree, she was accepted as a Graduate Process Engineer at Heritage, where she completed the program and is now currently employed as a Process Engineer in the Project Support Team. Here she has worked on the newly proposed steam flooding network, process modelling and simulation, development of process material and reports, and risk assessment methodology, among other activities.
