Overview

Automation systems have historically used a dedicated function I/O modules for automation projects. This paradigm requires significant upfront design of solutions, which require costly rework when project requirements change. The introduction of configurable I/O simultaneously allows more flexibility in engineering design and an ability to deploy more standardized solutions. This webinar will explore the benefits of configurable I/O both from an upfront engineering design view and from an ongoing operational perspective.
