Nick is technical manager for Industrial Chemical’s portfolio of water treatment products it manufactures and supplies to UK water companies and wider industry.

Combined with his many years of experience at Thames Water in all aspects of water and sewage treatment, it allows ICL to provide optimal water treatment solutions using its products.

As a chemist, Nick has always had a keen interest in all aspects of chemical coagulation for water treatment, and particularly the development of new products. He is currently working on advanced methods of energy recovery from sewage sludge using hydrothermal liquefaction and valorisation of the conversion by-products.
