Overview

Sustainability is no longer a choice - it’s a business imperative. From decarbonising operations to circular chemistry and greener supply chains, chemical engineering sits at the heart of the world’s most pressing challenges. But real progress doesn’t come from technology alone. It takes bold leadership and smart management to turn sustainability goals into measurable impact.

This energising session is built for managers and executives who want to move beyond compliance and position their organisations as industry leaders. We’ll focus on what matters most for leaders driving sustainable transformation:

  • turning ESG goals into action that deliver business and environmental value
  • leading teams through cultural change toward greener ways of working
  • balancing innovation with profitability in a rapidly shifting market
  • building future-proof strategies that meet stakeholder expectations and secure long-term advantage.

The world is watching. Sustainability is the challenge of our time - leadership is the solution. This session is designed for managers and executives who want to sharpen their decision-making edge. We’ll explore:

  • the balance between data, expertise, and intuition in complex decisions
  • how to weigh risks and opportunities with confidence
  • techniques for inclusive and transparent decision-making
  • building decision-making processes that support long-term success.

Decisions define leaders. When you decide with purpose, you don’t just solve today’s problems – you set tomorrow’s direction.

This webinar is part of a series with the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), the only body that can award Chartered Manager status, the highest accolade for leaders.
