Could you help inspire the next generation of chemical engineers?

Join this short information webinar to learn how IChemE members with experience working in industry or research can take part in I'm an Engineer, a nationwide online engagement programme that connects engineers with school students through live text-based chats.

Students can ask anything, from "What do engineers actually do?" to questions about sustainability, problem-solving and career pathways. During this webinar we'll explain:

• What I'm an Engineer is and how it works?
• What taking part as an engineer involves?
• The support available to volunteers.
• How to register and get started?

Taking part is flexible, rewarding and a great way to share your enthusiasm for chemical engineering with young people who may never have met an engineer before.

Georgia Lambert, Mangarolla

Georgia previously participated in I'm a Scientist as a PhD student. She now works with the scientists mathematicians, engineers and computer scientists taking part in this exciting programme.

Leanne Gunn, Schools and College Engagement Officer, IChemE

Leanne is the IChemE schools and colleges engagement officer responsible for connecting young people with chemical engineering through outreach activities, educational programmes and volunteer engagement.
