Overview
IChemE Chartered Membership recognises chemical engineers who demonstrate the professional competence, experience, and commitment expected across the discipline. Whether you hold an IChemE-accredited degree or have built your expertise through alternative qualifications, industry experience, or vocational training, there is a pathway for you.
If you don’t hold an accredited qualification, you can still demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and professional development through a combination of academic study, workplace learning, training, and practical experience. IChemE provides clear routes to help you evidence the standards required for Chartered Membership.
To help you understand the full chartership journey, we invite you to join our webinar. This session will guide you through:
- the complete pathway to becoming an IChemE Chartered Member
- how your qualifications, experience, and training contribute to the process
- the key components of the application, including competence and commitment
- the support available from IChemE at each step
- what to do next to begin or progress your application.
If time permits, the webinar will finish with a live Q&A where you can ask questions directly to IChemE staff.
This webinar is ideal for:
- individuals without an IChemE-accredited degree who want clarity on how to present their knowledge and experience
- anyone beginning, considering, or revisiting their chartership journey.
We look forward to welcoming you to the session.
