Amanda is a process lead with twenty years’ experience in water and wastewater treatment in UK and globally. Her experience is in the design of water and wastewater treatment systems and in realising resource recovery from the urban water cycle and in delivering sustainable process solutions. She has experience leading technical teams and projects across their life cycle and is passionate about realising the benefits chemical engineers can bring to a lower carbon, circular economy, and safer planet.

She holds Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours), Bachelor of Science, Masters in water and wastewater treatment and diploma in water law, policy and science. She is a Chartered member of IChemE, a committee member of the Water Special Interest Group and currently leads the IWA climate smart utilities greenhouse gas monitoring and mitigation sub-group. She is also a proud committee member of Jacobs Women’s Network in the UK and Ireland.
