John Challenger

John Challenger has extensive industry experience and previous roles working for contracting, consultancy and operating companies. He has experience as a lead engineer (including Process Subject Matter Expert), Project Manager, General Manager, Founding Partner of a Process Engineering consultancy, Director, Managing Director and Chairman in a number of companies. John is a Chartered Engineer and Fellow of both IChemE and IMechE.

John is the Chair of the IChemE Contracts Committee. He has been a member of the committee for over 40 years and has contributed to the development of all its published contracts. He has acted as an arbitrator or expert appointed by IChemE in several disputes and is currently a member of IChemE's Disputes Resolution Committee.
