Biography

Gabriela is passionate about people, inclusivity, and international development.

She has been working as a Water Engineer in New Zealand for four years, being particularly interested in increasing access to safe drinking-water in rural communities in New Zealand and abroad. She has recently worked with Engineers Without Borders.

She has experience in the pharmaceutical environment and worked in multiple fields as a student in research, process simulation, dairy, and product development.

Gabriela has been on the IChemE Auckland Committee for more than two years, being Chair for one year. She has been focusing on spreading knowledge and increasing the connection among members.
