We hope you will join us at this year's technical seminar. The theme is Transformational Technologies.

The Aberdeen members group is hosting a programme of technical presentations and interactive sessions at the Aberdeen Altens Hotel.

The keynote speaker will be ProfessorTom Baxter who will describe the technologies he considers to have been transformational in the course of his 40 year career in the oil and gas industry. We will then have industry presentations from Shell, Chevron, Genesis and Repsol describing new technologies that have applications for us today and in the future.

The afternoon will include interactive sessions and networking opportunities. We will also have pop-up demonstration booths offering a chance to experience augmented reality.

Lunch will be provided starting at 12:00. The presentations will start at 13:00 and the event will close at 17:00. (For catering we need to confirm numbers to the hotel by 3 October. Registration will remain open until 9 October but you may not get any food if you book late!)

The seminar is open to all Aberdeen members, non-member and students.
