Overview

This is a high-level presentation, aimed at those working within the oil, gas and petrochemical sector who may have an interest in understanding how and why steam is such a reliable and efficient carrier of thermal energy; why steam will be relevant in process industries for years to come; and how an existing steam system can be optimised to realise improvements in energy efficiency, uptime and reliability, health safety as well as a reduction in carbon emissions.

Daniel Wells, National Consultant Specialist UK and ROI, Spirax Sarco

Dan Wells is the national consultant specialist for Spirax Sarco, providing educational; technical and commercial support for consultant design engineers; EPCs and contractors across the UK and ROI. Working closely with the Spirax Sarco’s area engineering and project teams, Dan has many years’ experience with a broad range of industrial applications, working across many engineering disciplines.
