Overview

A SONG webinar with a technical presentation by the technical professional team from MySep Pte Ltd.

Two and three-phase separators are key process equipment in upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas.

The poor performance of phase separators across the industry is associated with $10,000,000s production losses daily.

  • What can go wrong?
  • How can we remedy this?
  • How can we avoid mal-performance?

Drawing on over two decades of trouble-shooting and debottlenecking experience world-wide, the presentation will feature summary case studies of real industrial applications. The material will include illustrations and videos of CFD modeling and physical lab testing. An approach to good design practice will be demonstrated live with the MySep Studio software application. This will feature new-build LNG applications and retro-fit remediation of related processes.

Rigorous separator modeling inside process simulation is increasingly recognized as essential to the fidelity of an operational digital twin. A demonstration of how this can already be realized in leading simulators will also feature.
