Dr Manisha Patel
Dr. Manisha Patel began her career as an engineer in the Oil & Energy sector after gaining a first class Master’s degree and PhD in Chemical Engineering. She worked as a technical engineering consultant within the industry, and gained Chartered Membership with IChemE. She later took on a Business Development Management role to help her employer improve brand positioning and also strategically help grow the business.
Manisha currently sits on the Southern Region committee of the Energy Industries Council (EIC), and has been supporting women in engineering, diversity and inclusion by speaking at Universities and attending events such as Powerful Women, AFBE and Equal Engineers.
To support her professional development and help raise the bar of the people in her growing network, Manisha has qualified and practices as an Executive Coach and NLP Practitioner. She hopes to be able to further bridge the gap between technical and commercial disciplines and support engineers with career and personal development.
