Interested in gaining an insight into industry?

Join this webinar hosted by IChemE's All Ireland Members Group and a variety of speakers from industries across the region.

You will be provided with detailed accounts of their own experience in industry and some tips and guidance. There will be an opportunity to ask your questions on what the industry and roles are like.

Dhammy Parameswaran, Upstream Bioprocess Engineer at Eli Lilly

Dhammy is a bio-process engineer with 6+ years’ experience in the bio-pharmaceutical industry. She studied biochemical engineering with bio-process management at University College London. She currently works for Eli Lilly as the Upstream Tech Transfer lead for the Kinsale Biotech manufacturing facilities. Dhammy also sits on the IChemE Biochemical Engineering Special Interest Group committee as a webinar co-ordinator and volunteered for the COVID-19 Response team within the therapeutic antibodies workstream.

Justine Butler, Process Department Manager, Jacobs

Justine is a chartered engineer with over 15 years’ experience in the design and commissioning of Pharmaceutical plants specialising in clean utilities of fill/finish facilities.

She has progressed into management roles including her current role as Process Department Manager for Jacobs Ireland Operations with a department of 80 process engineers and her previous role as Digital Solutions Manager.

Aoife Hamill, Process Engineering Director, FDT Consulting Engineers & Project Managers Ltd

Aoife is a chemical engineer who graduated from UCD in 2005. Since 2017, she has been the Process Engineering Director at FDT Consulting Engineers and Project Managers, where she works on a variety of process and utilities projects in the pharmaceutical, brewing and beverage industries.

Aoife holds an MSc in renewable energy and energy management and an IBD distilling diploma. Energy efficiency and sustainability have long been core areas of interest. She has published two research projects funded by the Irish EPA, which investigated industrial CO2 recovery and reuse to reduce emissions and the most efficient treatment of distillery co-products, respectively. Since September 2020, Aoife has been the secretary of the IChemE All Ireland Members Group and is also a member of the Pharma Special Interest Group committee.
