Following GSK's public commitment to achieving net zero this webinar provides overview of GSK's strategy to achieve it.

IChemE, IMechE, and ISPE UK pharma groups are joining forces to discuss strategies for decarbonise in the Pharma industry. The webinar will begin with a talk by Paul Aither of IMechE on GSK's strategies to achieve net zero. This will be followed by a Q&A panel discussion with representatives from each organisation providing a voice as part of the conversation considering possible routes for decarbonisation.

Aimed at those interested in decarbonisation (sustainability) in the pharma industry. This webinar is aimed at those who have questions about big pharma decarbonisation strategy as the panel will converse on questions/topics provided by the audience. Delegates will hear what three organisations (IChemE, IMechE, and ISPE UK) are doing to decarbonise the pharma industry as well as join the discussion by asking questions. This is the first in a series of monthly webinars from Pharma SIG's Sustainability working group.

Speaker

Paul Aither, Head of Electrical Engineering and operational sustainability Consumer Healthcare, GSK

Chartered electrical engineering Leader with global experience in the pharmaceuticals & FMCG industry. Paul has experience in Instrumentation and control, calibration, change control, validation, mission critical power distribution, and manufacturing operations. Strong engineering professional with a Master of Science (MSc) focused on Power Distribution from Newcastle University. Also experienced in leading operations and multi skilled engineering teams.
