Fiona Mitchell-Corbett is an experienced process safety engineer with 15 years in the energy industry.  Fiona has held roles in process safety for global energy companies, engineering companies and specialist consultancies supporting greenfield and brownfield opportunities across the project lifecycle.  Fiona’s primary experience is in hazard identification, qualitative and quantitative risk assessment with a focus on inherent safety in design.  Fiona also has a keen interest in process safety management.

Fiona’s current role is the Vice President Hydrogen Safety at Gexcon.  Based in Australia, she leads the development of Gexcon’s global hydrogen services comprising safety consulting, advanced engineering software and fire and explosion testing.

Fiona is a Chartered Member of IChemE with a Postgraduate Diploma in Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineering from Heriott-Watt University and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Canterbury.
