S Norton is the UK's largest independent metal recycler, processing approximately 1.5 million tonnes of scrap metal each year. On the same site, Axion Recycling operates an innovative facility that recycles the non-metallic fraction from S Norton's process.

The visit will include a brief introduction to S Norton and Axion, followed by a tour of site to see the various technologies employed in the process. There will also be an opportunity for questions and discussion about all aspects of recycling.

PPE

Hard hats, hi-ves jackets, ear defenders, safety boots and gloves are required on site. There are limited sets of visitor 'PPE' that can be provided so please bring your own if possible.
