The North West Members Group invites you to join them for their Annual Meeting. As well as reports from the chair and treasurer, the meeting will include a guest speaker and a site tour.
Speaker
David Nellist, Retired Chemical Engineer
David Nellist, BSc MSc PhD FIChemE is a retired chemical engineer with almost 50 years’ experience in operations management with pharmaceutical and food & drink operations. He was most recently the Managing Director of Kalmia Ltd, a consultancy company specialising in strategy development, performance improvement & organisation development working with over 50 food & drink companies. He previously worked for Nestlé, William Grant & Sons, Cadbury Schweppes, and Reckitt & Colman.
David's presentation is titled 'Reflections on the chemical industry in the Northwest' and is a review of the origins of the chemical industry in the Northwest and the discovery of a forgotten treasure.

Please note that all nominees for the position of Chair must be a Chartered or Fellow Member (the committee may consider nominations from those actively working towards Chartered Membership).

Site Tour
The Annual Meeting will be preceded by a tour of PrintCity, providing an overview of the different additive manufacturing technologies and materials on display, and some further information and demonstrations around their research projects, such as TRANSFORM-CE.
