Hope Works has been in operation within the Peak District National Park for over 86 years, and is Britain’s only independent cement manufacturer and one of the best performing plants in the world.

Hope is proud of its heritage and investments that have allowed this well-established Derbyshire industry to move forward into the 21st century.

The tour will allow visitors to learn the process of making cement, restoration projects past and present, our sustainability, and commitment to Health, Safety and Environment.

Meet some of the Hope team at our Social Club for refreshments at 13:00 followed by a Safety Induction and short film on the Process of making Cement.

The visit will continue to our quarry viewing platform, followed by a tour around our kilns and cement mills, finishing off with a look at our laboratories and control room.

All visitors are reminded to wear sensible footwear.
