Overview

Environmental forensic chemistry investigations involve translating environmental information to identify the source of contamination and allocating responsibility. The environmental forensic approach integrates and leverages the expertise of environmental chemists from the laboratory in partnership with the consultant to select the appropriate forensic tools employed for the investigation.

Environmental forensic chemistry investigations encompass an understanding of a variety of disciplines and the wisdom to select the most appropriate forensic tool(s) which are best suited for a particular set of facts. At SUEZ our forensic chemists utilize a multi-level tiered interpretive approach to develop multiple lines of evidence in support of the investigation questions.
