Only IChemE members based in the UK can apply for the 2024 pilot event.
All entrants must have been born on or after 1 September 1994.
All entrants must submit their membership number on the entry form.
Each member can only submit one entry.
If entrants are working as a group, the maximum group size allowed is four. All members of the group must be IChemE members and be between the ages of 18 and 30.
All entries must include the application form and a poster in the designated template. All entries must be received by Tuesday 30 April 2024. Entries submitted after this date will not be reviewed.
All entries will be judged in accordance with set criteria.
Within each category there will be an overall winner and highly commended entry or entries.
IChemE reserves the right to not award an overall winner in the event of the judging criteria not being met.
Individual feedback on any entry will not be given and may not be requested.
Entrants must not submit commercially sensitive matter as part of their submission.
It is the entrants responsibility to not infringe copyright legislation with regards to images – only images that the entrant has permission to use should be included in the poster.
If photographs of people are included in the poster, entrants must ensure they have written consent to use the image. Finalists will be required to complete a photo permission form.
All work submitted must be the original work of the person(s) submitting the entry.
Finalists will be invited to attend an event at IChemE Head office, Rugby on 28 June 2024. Finalists will be notified by 6 June 2024.
