Adrian J Luckins, BSc (Eng), MBA, FIChemE, CEng, PMP

Adrian is a visionary executive leader driving organisations to consistently deliver safe, high quality, efficient projects of all sizes. He has led transformations in engineering and project delivery through collaboration with contractors, manufacturers, and supply chain partners. His expert judgment and critical risk decision-making has resulted in objective project concept selection, predictable delivery, safe operations, and optimised life-cycle costs.

Adrian gained his first-hand experience through 35 years of upstream oil and gas engineering, project management, operations, and leadership roles in domestic and international assignments with Shell, ABB and BP. He holds a BSc from University College London in Chemical Engineering, an MBA in Engineering Management from City University London, is a Fellow of the Institution of Chemical Engineers and a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Adrian recently retired as a member of the BP Upstream Global Projects Organization executive leadership team, with accountability for major projects in the Americas, the North Sea, and sub-sea systems globally. He is now an independent management consultant assisting multiple clients with the energy transition, strategic and business transformation, specialist advice, training and development, and expert witness services.
