Biography

Adam is currently the Technical Group Head at the Newport site for Celanese (previously an ExxonMobil site until 2021) and has held this position since March 2018. He has previously held manufacturing and senior engineer roles at other companies/sites in the South Wales area over the last 12 years including Dow Corning and Cabot. Adam became a Chartered Member in 2017.

Adam is also an active STEM Ambassador and co-ordinator for STEM volunteering/outreach for the Celanese Newport site. Most recently in Jan 2023, he conducted presentations to secondary schools in the Cardiff and Newport areas, utilising some ‘whynotchemeng’ resources and interacting with over 300 Year 9 and 12 students.
