A short presentation offering advice and tips for active job hunters and/ or those more passive individuals (the never say nevers). The focus will be on the current market, personal development (getting chartered, obtaining different skills, being a subject matter expert etc), skills and transitions (tech to non tech etc), increasing probability of success (standing out from crowd, hunting tips etc), CVs and job applications and more.

Presenter

Nick Catterall, 6 Engineering

Nick has 14 years experience in the recruitment industry, with 10+ years in engineering orientated recruitment. Worked as a recruiter (dealing with candidates) and as account manager (dealing with clients - hiring companies). Covered permanent, contract and temporary recruitment. IR35 knowledge. Covered UK and international requirements. CV advice. Helped many unemployed people find work. Supported a variety of challenges e.g. graduates in down time, seasoned candidates, contractors becoming permanent and vice versa etc.
