We welcome students who are passionate about process safety. The conference offers direct exposure to industry leaders, cutting‑edge technologies, and real‑world applications that complement academic study.

To attend as a student (delegate or presenting author), individuals must:

• be in full‑time education at a recognised college, university, or technical institution
• provide valid proof of student status at the time of booking 

Accepted forms of proof include:

• a current student ID card with expiry date
• an enrolment letter from the institution
• a digital confirmation of full‑time study
• a valid NUS or equivalent student card.

Students who cannot provide proof will be asked to register under a standard delegate category. In case of queries, email hazards@icheme.org

Yes, you will be able to download copies of the presentation slides and the full papers (if available) as valuable reference points after the event. Please note that this is subject to authors providing the relevant permissions.

Absolutely not. We encourage members and non-members alike to get involved.

Presenters will be given a 25-minute presentation slot in the programme which includes at least five minutes for questions. They are also expected to join the facilitated discussion time relevant to their presentation.

Presenters will be asked to submit a video recording of their presentation along with their PowerPoint slides before the conference. They are also strongly encouraged to submit a detailed paper for the conference proceedings, although this is not an essential requirement. 

• Deadline for abstract submissions: 5 June
• Abstract review completed, presentation slots offered, programme published: W/c 6 July
• Paper submission deadline: 18 September

Presenters will have full access to the conference so are expected to pay to attend. They will however benefit from a significantly discounted author rate.​
